Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) will stage a nine-race programme on Sunday, 12 July, beginning at 12:45 PM and concluding at 5:25 PM. The card features handicaps, maiden contests and valuable feature races, led by the ₹5 crore Zavaray S. Poonawalla Bangalore Summer Derby.
Bangalore Race Cards 12 July 2026 :-
The afternoon opens with The Hyderabad Salver at 12:45 PM. The Class III contest, for horses rated 40 to 65, will be run over 1,400 metres for prize money of ₹6,30,000. Sassy Sarah, Glorious Strides, Sicyon, Valiant Stream, Night Raider, Sunshine, Ziva and Starzella are expected to line up.
At 1:15 PM, The Indian Pattern Committee Trophy Division I will bring together Class IV horses rated 20 to 45 over 1,200 metres. Knotty Cruise, Waitara, Lauterbrunnen, Magestic Persona, Interceptor, Versace, A Great Buzz, Coolie, Idi Minnal and Il Volo feature in the ₹5,10,000 sprint.
Class I performers take over in The Mumbai Cup at 1:45 PM. The 1,200-metre race, open to horses rated 80 and above, carries ₹11,00,000 in prize money. Ricardo, Credence, Czar, Mandarino, Aldgate, Star Glory and Touch Of Grey are among the declared runners.
One of the most valuable supporting contests, The Patel and Patel Racing LLP B.T.C Anniversary Cup, follows at 2:15 PM. The 1,400-metre race for horses aged four years and over offers ₹38,90,000. Ranquelino, Shamrock, Knotty Charmer, Siege Courageous, Nonpariel, Once You Go Black, Crown Drive, Galahad and Money Bags are expected to compete.
The three-year-olds will then take centre stage in The Five Stars Shipping Million, a maiden race over 1,600 metres at 2:50 PM. Asterion, Incredible Luck, Old Fashioned, Astrid, Exotic Black, Fine Silver, Majestic Legacy, Royal Legacy, Sensuous and Sprezzatura will contest the ₹21,45,000 event.
The longest supporting race of the afternoon, The Turf Authorities of India Trophy, is scheduled for 3:25 PM. The Class III contest for horses rated 40 to 65 will be run over 1,800 metres, with ₹6,30,000 on offer. Magnus, Oliver, Refreshment, Winfield, Youremanorborne, Moon Star, Gordon and Alamgir make up the expected field.
Bangalore Race Cards 12 July 2026 Feature ₹5 Crore Derby
The feature event, The Zavaray S. Poonawalla Bangalore Summer Derby, will be run at 4:00 PM. The prestigious 2,000-metre Classic for three-year-old Indian horses carries a prize fund of ₹5,00,00,000.
D’Artagnan, Knotty Emperor, Digital Empress, Havoc, Margaretta, Moonveil, Pearl Star and Vortex are expected to contest the richest race on the programme.
Racing resumes at 4:45 PM with The Indian Pattern Committee Trophy Division II, a Class IV sprint for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1,200 metres. Zayana, Everynne, Noble Cause, Lasya, Supreme Success, Lena, Agrador, Solo Prince and My Solitaire will compete for ₹5,10,000.
The programme concludes at 5:25 PM with The Indian Pattern Committee Trophy Division III. Also run over 1,200 metres for Class IV horses rated 20 to 45, the ₹5,10,000 contest features Windcleaver, Blind Faith, Dasadyu, First Choice, Power Of The Sea, Big B, Brave Heart, Character, SD Good Sam and LG’s Star.
With strong sprint fields, competitive middle-distance contests and two valuable supporting features preceding the Derby, the nine-race card promises a major afternoon of racing at Bangalore Turf Club.
