The feature contest will bring together three-year-olds and older horses over a middle-distance trip. With nine runners set to line up, the compact field will place importance on tactical positioning and the ability to maintain a strong pace through the closing stages.

The Juddmonte International Stakes will be the principal Group 1 race on the opening day of the Ebor Festival. Scheduled for 3:35pm, the contest will cover 1m 2f 56y and carry £1.5 million in prize money.

The nine-runner field will create a closely contested race over a distance that will require both speed and stamina. The runners will need to settle during the early stages before sustaining their effort through the final part of the race.

With a quality field of three-year-olds and older horses assembled for the contest, the Juddmonte International will provide a significant test at York. The 1m 2f 56y distance will place emphasis on tactical pace as well as the ability to finish strongly.
