Monday evenings at Wolverhampton Racecourse tended to be efficient affairs, and this meeting followed that established pattern under the floodlights. The Wolverhampton Race Results 19 January reflected a seven-race programme that moved smoothly across a range of distances on the Tapeta surface, with familiar yards and riders featuring prominently as the card took shape.

The meeting began at 5:30pm with the MIDNITE NEXT GENERATION HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6). Tenadaay produced a solid staying performance to secure the opening contest in a time of 2m 40.34s. Gina Mangan partnered the winner for trainer Fergal O’Brien, with Mr J. N. Greenley recorded as the owner.

At 6:00pm, the MIDNITE CLASSIFIED STAKES (CLASS 6) was taken by Al Baahy, who finished the stronger to claim the race in 2m 00.92s. Billy Loughnane was in the saddle for trainer Kevin Frost, with the Curzon House Partnership listed as owners.

The 6:30pm MIDNITE RESTRICTED MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 4) saw Alasrae record a clear success over the extended sprint trip. Ridden by Billy Loughnane and trained by George Boughey, the winner stopped the clock at 1m 13.84s for owners Northam Racing.

At 7:00pm, the MAKE THE MOVE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) went to Addarella, who travelled well before asserting to land the contest in 1m 13.27s. Marco Ghiani rode the winner for trainer Marco Botti, with Dennis Brocklesby & Partner responsible for ownership.

The 7:30pm HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) was claimed by Vince Lombardi, who produced a decisive finish to score in 1m 28.44s. Dale Swift partnered the Seb Spencer-trained runner for owners Eco-Power Racing.

At 8:00pm, Hardstyle added another success to the card in the HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6), completing the race in 1m 28.23s. Billy Loughnane secured a further victory for trainer George Boughey, with Shylock listed as the owner.

The meeting concluded at 8:30pm with the MIDNITE MOVEMENT HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6). Master Dandy showed early speed and maintained the advantage to win in 1m 01.34s. Billy Loughnane again took the ride for trainer Michael Keady for owners Apollo Horses I.

The Wolverhampton card was characterised by well-judged rides and consistent use of the Tapeta surface, with several jockeys and trainers leaving the meeting with encouraging results.
