Winfield delivered a gutsy performance in The Holding Court Plate, narrowly staving off rivals in a stirring 1600-meter contest for horses rated 20 to 45. Held on July 31, 2025, during Day 23 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, at the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC). The race carried a purse of ₹5,10,000 and ended in yet another gripping finish of the day.

Ridden by the experienced hands of Antony Raj S., Winfield was confidently handled for trainer Arjun Mangalorkar, surging forward in the final stages to clock 1:39.19 and secure the win for the ownership team of M/s. Arun Alagappan Racing LLP, Mr. Chandrakanth Kankaria, and Mr. Haider Soomar.

Winfield Holds Off Supreme Success in Tight Finish

The lead didn’t come easy, as Supreme Success, under a strong ride by Vinod Shinde for trainer V. Lokanath, came charging late to make things interesting. The final verdict was a narrow one, with Supreme Success stopping the clock at 1:39.33, just 0.14 seconds behind.

Ksepiman, partnered by Vivek G. and trained by Rutherford Alford, rounded out the top three in 1:39.34, barely a whisker behind the runner-up in what turned into a blanket finish for the minors.
