The sixth race of the day at Pune Racecourse — The Yogender Singh Salver, a Class IV contest for Indian horses aged four years rated 20 to 46, run over 1200 metres — unfolded in electrifying style on Saturday, 4th October 2025 at 4:20 PM. In a display of speed and precision, Wind Dancer (J: A. Sandesh, T: Dallas Todywalla) surged to victory in a time of 1:08:752, delivering a commanding performance for owners Mr D R Thacker rep. DT Racing & Breeders LLP, Mr Mukul Sonawala, Mr Nozer Panthaky, Mr P. J. Vazifdar & Mr M. Rishad.

From the outset, Wind Dancer broke smartly from the stalls and positioned well behind the early leader. With A. Sandesh poised confidently, the filly picked up the pace decisively in the final 300 metres. Demonstrating a sharp turn of foot, she surged past her rivals in the closing stages to secure a clear-cut victory, asserting her dominance in this competitive field.

Runner-up honours went to Escape Velocity (J: Ramswarup, T: Adhirajsingh Jodha), who kept close pressure throughout and crossed the line in 1:09:058, just over a length behind the winner. Star Impact (J: Vivek G., T: Aman Altaf Hussain) finished strongly to take third in 1:09:788, rounding out an exciting trifecta.
