The Bangalore Summer Meeting continues its exciting run with Day 9 scheduled for Saturday, 14 June 2025 at the Bangalore Turf Club. With six compelling races lined up, the afternoon promises plenty of action for racegoers. The first race is set to begin at 2:05 PM, and the final event will close the day at 5:00 PM, ensuring a vibrant stretch of thrilling racing.

Kicking off the day’s schedule is The Kranji Plate, a 2000-meter handicap race for horses rated 20 to 45. Among the four contenders are CARAT LOVE, guided by jockey Pavan and trained by Vishesh M.P.; AMAZING STRIDE, with Neeraj Rawal in the saddle under the training of S. Padmanabhan; GOLD EMPIRE, ridden by Suraj Narredu and trained by Rajesh Narredu; and REFRESHMENT, who will be partnered by Vivek G. and trained by Prasanna Kumar. This opener features a prize purse of ₹510,000.

Next up at 2:40 PM is The Sir Cecil Plate, a 1200-meter whipless handicap race, also for horses rated 20 to 45. Leading the lineup are DOMINA, with jockey Vivek and trainer S. Inayathulla; THE STRIKINGLY, ridden by K. Sai Kiran and trained by Joseph B. Awale; ISABELLE, partnered by Pavan and trained by Irfan Ghatala; AUGUSTO, ridden by Vivek G. and trained by Pradeep Annaiah; and SMILE OF BEAUTY, with jockey Ramswarup and trainer S. Dominic. This race also carries a total prize of ₹510,000.

The action continues at 3:15 PM with The Justice P. Medapa Memorial Trophy, a 1200-meter race for horses rated 40 to 65. The top five entries include BLUE GOD, ridden by Aleemuddin and trained by Arjun Mangalorkar; DENSETSU, with A. Sandesh aboard and trained by James Mckeown; DON CARLOS, partnered by P. Trevor under trainer S.S. Attaollahi; KALLU SAKKARE, who will be guided by A. Ramu and trained by M. Rajendra Singh; and CRIMSON FLAME, ridden by Koshi Kumar and trained by G.Y. Rajesh Babu. The prize purse for this race stands at ₹630,000.

The excitement builds with The World Blood Donor Day Cup, a maiden race dedicated to 3-year-olds over a mile (1600 meters), scheduled for 3:50 PM. The five key participants include ALAMGIR, who will be ridden by Suraj Narredu for trainer Irfan Ghatala; CR SEVEN, partnered by Rajesh Kumar M and trained by Narayana Gowda V.; DARRINGTON, with L. Alex Rozario aboard for trainer Irfan Ghatala; EDMONTON, ridden by Kuldeep Singh and trained by Prasanna Kumar; and ASSURANCES, with jockey A.A. Vikrant and trainer Rajesh Narredu. This race carries a substantial purse of ₹1,100,000.

At 4:25 PM, the penultimate race, The Meydan Plate, will feature elite horses rated 80 and above over 1200 meters. IMPERIAL BLUE leads the list with jockey Pavan and trainer Irfan Ghatala; GLOBAL INFLUENCE, with Yash Narredu aboard and trained by Rajesh Narredu; CROWN DRIVE, partnered by Abhishek Mhatre and trained by B. Suresh; CZAR, ridden by Aleemuddin and trained by Arjun Mangalorkar; and KALAMITSI, with A. Sandesh aboard and trained by S.S. Attaollahi. The prize purse for this feature race is ₹1,100,000.

Wrapping up the day at 5:00 PM is The Royal Command Plate, a 1200-meter handicap for horses rated 20 to 45. Five leading contenders include EL REY, ridden by Aleemuddin and trained by S. Padmanabhan; ELEANORA, guided by Yash Narredu and trained by Rajesh Narredu; POLE STAR, with Darshan N aboard and trained by Prasanna Kumar; VAYU, ridden by Manish R. under the guidance of Joseph B. Awale; and ECLIPSE PULSE, with P. Sai Kumar in the saddle and trained by Azhar Ali. The prize purse for the finale is ₹510,000.
