Thousand Words Justifies Favoritism to Win Long Tom Handicap at RCTC

Tote favorite Thousand Words lived up to expectations in the Long Tom Handicap, the 5th race at RCTC today, securing a well-deserved victory. Trained by Rutherford Alford and ridden by Imran Chisty, Thousand Words crossed the finish line in 1:05.218 at odds of 5/4, giving Alford another win after his runner Born to Be Spoilt finished second in the opening race.

La Dominate put up a commendable fight but had to settle for second place. Trained by B. Mahesh and guided by A. Aahhad Asbar, the runner clocked 1:05.418 at 11/2 odds.

The top three were rounded off by Australia, trained by Rajesh Narredu and piloted by Arul J. H, who finished in 1:05.998 at 15/1 odds.

With this victory, Thousand Words added yet another exciting chapter to the day’s action-packed racing at RCTC.
