The mile-long JSK1 Play & Win August Trophy brought a shift in pace and strategy at the Pune Meeting on August 2nd, 2025, as The Milenium Force stepped up in style to land the honours. Ridden by the experienced A. Sandesh and trained by P. S. Chouhan, the horse seized the lead at the right moment to clock an authoritative 1:39.451 in the 1600-metre handicap.

Run under class III conditions for Indian horses rated 40 to 66, the race carried a winners’ cheque of ₹6.5 lakh and was widely anticipated following the sharp sprint that opened the day.

Sandesh Times It Right on The Milenium Force

Owned by Mr B. Vijeth Bhandari, The Milenium Force was well-positioned throughout and responded smartly when asked for an effort in the final furlong. The horse lengthened his stride with intent, holding off all challengers with a clean finish.

Eaton Square, trained by M. Narredu and ridden by Yash Narredu, made a late but promising rally to finish second in 1:40.418, while Substantial, the consistent performer from Nirad Karanjawala’s yard, partnered by A. Prakash, followed close behind in 1:40.715. See the complete result breakdown for this race here.
