Rising to the occasion in striking style, Theia (J: Anil Baandal) delivered a polished performance for trainer Pillay J S, stopping the clock at 1:12.963 and securing a memorable first career win in the silks of Mr Suchit Jayaraj Shah.
Breaking alertly from the gates, Theia settled into a smooth rhythm just off the early leaders before making a decisive move approaching the final furlong. With a strong and sustained drive under Baandal’s urging, she surged clear in the closing strides, leaving her rivals chasing shadows and stamping her authority on the contest with flair.
Natural Look (J: Ankit Pal, T: Mansoor Khan) battled gamely to finish second in 1:13.039, having tracked the pace closely before being outpaced in the final metres, while Always For You (J: Hindu Singh, T: C D Monnappa) ran on steadily to take third in 1:13.495, rounding out a competitive trifecta.
