Talakadu Plate Mysore 2025: Cloudy Hills stormed clear of his rivals to claim the Talakadu Plate, the concluding event of the Mysore Monsoon Races (3rd Day) on September 11. The five-year-old bay gelding by Phoenix Tower (USA) out of Love Of Dubai (USA), trained by Bobby M and partnered by K. Mukesh Kumar, proved far too good in the 1400-metre contest, winning by 7¼ lengths in a sharp 1:24.014. The winner carried the silks of Rapar’s Galloping Stars LLP.

One Diamond and Sarvottam battle for places

The runner-up spot went to One Diamond (J: Faiz / T: C.D. Monnappa), who finished a distant 1¼ lengths ahead of Sarvottam (J: C. Umesh / T: Rakesh), timed at 1:25.346. Both filled the frame without ever threatening the dominant winner.

Money Exchange, Felicita and Gimme follow home

Money Exchange (J: A. Ayaz Khan / T: Surender G.T) finished fourth, 2½ lengths behind, while Felicita (J: Pavan / T: Helleal Moses R) took fifth, three-quarters of a length away. Gimme (J: Anil Baandal / T: Pillay J.S) closed in sixth.

The race carried a total purse of ₹4,50,000, with the winner’s share of ₹2,25,000 going to Cloudy Hills’ connections. The commanding margin suggests he will be a force in similar company this season.

Racing at Mysore resumes on September 12, featuring a six-race card beginning at 2:30 PM, ensuring another afternoon of competitive Monsoon action.
