The seventh day of the 2025 Mysore Summer Meeting kicked off in exciting fashion with The Evita Plate Division II, a handicap sprint over 1200 metres for horses rated 20 to 45. The event offered a purse of ₹4,50,000 and drew a competitive field looking to set the tone for the day.
Super Stride emerged as the standout performer, registering a strong finishing effort to claim the top spot. Trained by Fahad Khan and piloted by H. Rahul, Super Stride surged past the front-runners in the final furlong to stop the clock at 1:12.008, bringing success to the ownership of Mr. Dhruv Kumar Futnani.
Tigerking ran a gallant race to secure second place. Guided by Vishwa V. and trained by Vishal Yadav, Tigerking timed the race well and stayed competitive throughout, finishing narrowly behind in 1:12.084.
Completing the frame was Phoenix Gold, trained by Bipin V. Salvi and partnered by Abhishek Mhatre. Phoenix Gold maintained a strong gallop to finish in 1:12.475, holding off late closers in the final stages.
Though a lower-grade handicap on paper, The Evita Plate Div II delivered a high-energy contest, featuring close margins and a fast pace that set the tone for what promises to be a thrilling card.
