Stormy Ocean Surges to Victory in Meg Merrilies Handicap at RCTC

The Meg Merrilies Handicap, a 1600-meter contest at RCTC, saw Stormy Ocean deliver a sensational performance to claim victory. Trained by Rutherford Alford and ridden by Imran Chisty, the duo continued their dominant run as Stormy Ocean stopped the clock at 1:37.224, securing the win at 9/1 odds.

Finishing a close second was Snowpiercer, guided by A. Ashhad Asbar and trained by Patrick Quinn, completing the race in 1:37.244 at odds of 9/2.

Taking the third spot was Aabushan, piloted by P. Trevor and also trained by Patrick Quinn, who had earlier secured a runner-up finish in the third race. The duo completed the race in 1:37.288 at 5/1 odds.

Meanwhile, Seasmoke was withdrawn before the race, while Sensational started as the tote-favorite.

With Stormy Ocean’s thrilling triumph, the racing spectacle at RCTC continued to produce high-octane action, keeping the excitement levels soaring.
