The Star Stradbroke Day, the grand finale of The Star Stradbroke Season, is set to take place on June 14th, 2025, at Eagle Farm Racecourse, hosted by The Brisbane Racing Club. With a thrilling card of nine races from 11:43 AM to 4:30 PM, racegoers are in for an action-packed experience. Over $6.5 million in prize money is on offer, headlined by the iconic The Star Stradbroke Handicap, alongside feature races like the J.J. Atkins and HKJC World Pool Q22.

In keeping with tradition, racing fans are encouraged to dress in ‘black and white with a touch of red’, aiming to impress in the Fashions on the Field competition — a highlight for the style-savvy crowd.

The day kicks off with the Sky Racing Gunsynd Classic at 11:43 AM, a 1600m Group 3 race with a $200,000 prize purse. The contenders are Pisces, Just Party, Emirate, Apuntar, Prince Levi, Moon Sweeper, Think Like Paddy (NZ), Flying Embers, and Just Feelin’ Lucky.

Next at 12:18 PM is the Seven The Wayne Wilson, a Listed 1600m race offering $160,000, featuring Unspoken (IRE), Transatlantic, Waterford (IRE), Pier (NZ), Attractable, Tenzing (NZ), Matcha Latte, Red Wave, Sibaaq (GB), Cranky Harry, Demon Darb, and Without Revenge (GB).

At 12:53 PM, the Brisbane Cup — a Group 2, 3200m race with $400,000 in stakes — will unfold.
