The penultimate contest on Day 4 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025 saw the veteran campaigners take center stage in the Ramkirpal Plate, a 1200-meter handicap for horses aged six years and older, rated 20 to 45. Scheduled at 4:30 PM, the seventh race of the day brought yet another win for the in-form Aravind G. stable.

Spirit Dancer, expertly ridden by jockey Vivek G., proved too strong for the rest of the field, powering home to register a convincing victory. The seasoned gelding showcased his experience and turn of foot in the final furlong, staying ahead comfortably to cross the line first and hand Aravind G. yet another success on the day.

Finishing second was Lady Invictus, partnered by Shreyas Singh S. and trained by M. Eshwer. Despite a game effort and sharp early pace, the mare could not match Spirit Dancer’s finishing burst but held on well to secure the runner-up spot.

Oxytoxin, ridden by A.R. Pradeep and trained by Warren Singh, came in third, completing the frame. The gelding made steady progress in the final stages but was unable to trouble the top two, though his performance reflected a promising return to form.

Spirit Dancer’s triumph adds another feather in the cap for trainer Aravind G., who has dominated proceedings throughout the day. Jockey Vivek G., too, continues to impress with another measured and confident ride.

All eyes now turn to the final event of the card — The Pendragon Plate Div I — which will bring an exciting close to an action-packed afternoon of racing at the Bangalore Turf Club.
