The second day of the Mysore Monsoon Races 2025 came alive with a pulsating finish in Race 4, The J.H. Foley Memorial Trophy, a Class III contest for horses rated 40 to 65, run over 1600 metres on Friday, 05 September 2025. At exactly 03:30 PM, Small Dreams (J: Shreyas Singh, T: Vishesh M.P.) produced a commanding turn of foot to storm home first, stopping the clock at 1:36.460. Racing in the famous silks of Mr Vikram Sreeram, Mrs Sandhya Sreeram, M/s Sandeep C Raghuram, V Srinivasa Murthy, Dr T S Ravindra, M/s Kiran Gowda, C N Shashikiran & Cherie Sports Pvt Ltd Rep by Mr Cheriyan Abraham, the four-year-old bay colt delivered a statement victory that had the crowd buzzing.

From the break, the early pace was set at a steady clip, with Elfin Knight taking a prominent position and Winfield tracking closely behind. However, as the runners entered the final 400 metres, Small Dreams found another gear under a perfectly judged ride from Shreyas Singh, slicing through the field and accelerating away in the final strides to claim a decisive win for trainer Vishesh M.P..

The battle for the minor placings was fiercely contested. Elfin Knight (J: P. Trevor, T: K Pradeep Annaiah) finished a close second in 1:36.555, showing grit but unable to reel in the winner. Just behind, Winfield (J: Antony Raj S., T: Arjun Mangalorkar) took third, clocking 1:36.712 after a strong late bid, ensuring the top three finished within fractions of a second of each other.
