As racing continued at a steady clip at Mysore Race Club, the fourth event of the day, The Ashwajaya Plate Div 2, showcased developing talent in the 20 to 45 rating category over 1200 meters.
Emerging at the head of affairs was Serai, a promising contender partnered by L. Alex Rozario, who timed her ride to perfection for trainer Pillay J S. The pair crossed the finish line in 1:13.405, giving owner Mr. Deepak Kumar a satisfying win in a tightly contested dash.
Ocean ran a brave race in defeat, finishing second under S. Antony Raj for trainer Monnappa C. D. in 1:13.864. Just a whisker behind came Cloudy Hills, piloted by Arvind Kumar N. and conditioned by Bobby M, who posted 1:13.905, ensuring the race ended with a blanket finish for the placings.
Serai’s win added further intrigue to a competitive day at the Mysore track, where formful results have blended with surprise finishes to keep racing fans engaged.
