The much-anticipated second day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025 which was earlier postponed from May 18th to May 20th due to heavy rains has been finally cancelled. The decision was taken by Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) as rains continued in Bangalore.
Originally slated for Sunday, May 18th, the race day had already been deferred to Tuesday, May 20th, after overnight showers rendered the track unsafe for competitive racing.
According to a notice issued by the BTC, all races scheduled for May 20th have been cancelled, but the highlight event of the day, The War Hammer Million, will now be run on Saturday, May 24th, which is the third day of the season.
As per notice, the previously published acceptors remain valid and fresh jockey declarations will be made.
