Action will continue at 1:41 p.m. with another $115,000 purse MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT over 6 furlongs on dirt, offering another opportunity for emerging talent to make an impression. The meeting will then switch to the turf course at 2:14 p.m. for the $105,000 purse ALLOWANCE over 1 mile, where a competitive field of accomplished performers will be in action.
The afternoon will move forward at 2:48 p.m. with the $120,000 purse ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING over 1 1/16 miles on turf, a contest combining allowance conditions with optional claiming eligibility. Race 6 will follow at 3:22 p.m. with the $125,000 purse ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING over 1 1/8 miles on dirt, testing stamina and class over one of the longer distances on the programme.
Attention will then shift to the later stages of the card. At 3:56 p.m., runners will contest the $105,000 purse ALLOWANCE over 1 mile on turf, before the $120,000 purse ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING over 1 1/16 miles on turf is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., adding further quality to the supporting programme.
The spotlight will then fall on the day’s principal attractions. The $400,000 purse STAKES over 6 furlongs on dirt will be run at 5:07 p.m., bringing together a high-quality field of sprinters. The feature event will follow at 5:45 p.m., when the $500,000 purse STAKES over 1 1/8 miles on dirt will headline the meeting as the richest contest on Saturday’s programme.
The penultimate race at 6:19 p.m. will feature the $105,000 purse ALLOWANCE over 5½ furlongs on turf, providing another competitive sprint before the meeting concludes. The curtain will fall at 6:52 p.m. with the $56,000 purse MAIDEN CLAIMING over 1 1/16 miles on turf, where developing runners will have one final opportunity to secure a breakthrough victory.
