Saratoga Racecourse will stage a nine-race programme on Thursday, August 13, with the meeting scheduled to begin at 1:10 PM and conclude at 5:49 PM. The card will comprise a varied succession of turf and dirt contests, with purses ranging from $43,000 to $200,000 and distances extending from 5 1/2 furlongs to 1 3/4 miles. The Saratoga Race Cards 13 August will consequently encompass maiden, claiming, allowance and stakes competition across a broad spectrum of conditions.

The opening contest will be a $100,000 Maiden Special Weight over 5 1/2 furlongs on turf at 1:10 PM. Race 2 will follow at 1:44 PM with a $71,000 Maiden Claiming event over six furlongs on dirt. The third race will then provide a one-mile dirt examination at 2:19 PM, with the $70,000 Starter Allowance forming the next stage of the afternoon programme.

Race 4 will introduce a longer turf assignment at 2:54 PM, when a $120,000 Allowance Optional Claiming contest will cover 1 3/16 miles. Race 5 will return to the dirt at 3:29 PM for a $43,000 Claiming race over six furlongs. The opening five contests will thus present a measured blend of shorter and middle-distance events across both surfaces.

The sixth race will be scheduled for 4:04 PM and will feature a $130,000 Allowance Optional Claiming contest over one mile on turf. Race 7 will follow at 4:39 PM with a $125,000 Allowance Optional Claiming event over 5 1/2 furlongs on turf, adding another shorter test to the later portion of the card.

The principal attraction will arrive in Race 8 at 5:14 PM, when a $200,000 Stakes will be contested over 1 3/4 miles on dirt. It will represent both the richest and longest-distance race of the meeting, standing apart from the shorter events scheduled earlier in the afternoon. The extended journey will place particular emphasis on stamina and the ability to sustain a strong pace over the demanding trip.

The programme will conclude with Race 9 at 5:49 PM, a $115,000 Maiden Special Weight over six furlongs on dirt. The closing contest will bring the nine-race schedule to an end after an afternoon encompassing three turf races and six dirt events.

Across the Saratoga Race Cards 13 August, the distances will range from 5 1/2 furlongs in the opening and seventh races to 1 3/4 miles in the eighth-race feature. The purse structure will similarly provide considerable variety, beginning at $43,000 in Race 5 and rising to $200,000 for the feature Stakes. The card will therefore offer a comprehensive sequence of race conditions from the opening maiden event through the concluding six-furlong contest.
