Saint-Cloud will stage an eight-race Flat card on Friday, October 2, 2026, with racing beginning at 1:43 PM and the final contest scheduled for 5:48 PM. The programme features races from 1,400 metres to 2,500 metres, with two Group I Arabian contests, a Group III event and three Listed races. The day’s highest prize is €100,000, offered for both the Qatar Arabian Trophy des Poulains and Qatar Arabian Trophy des Pouliches.

The opening race at 1:43 PM is the Prix de Conde Jockey Club de Turquie, a Group III contest for two-year-old horses over 2,000 metres. The race carries a total prize of €73,200 and has attracted eight runners. The distance will provide a substantial test for the young field as they compete over Saint-Cloud’s middle-distance course.

At 2:18 PM, the Qatar Arabian Trophy des Poulains will bring together three-year-old horses over 2,000 metres. This Group I PA contest carries €100,000 in prize money and features nine runners. The race is one of the major events on the card and will provide an important test for the three-year-old Arabian horses.

The third race at 2:53 PM is the Prix Soya, a 1,400-metre contest for two-year-old horses. The race carries €23,000 and is classified as a claiming race, with eight runners scheduled to take part. The shorter distance will provide a sharp test for the young horses.

The Qatar Arabian Trophy des Pouliches follows at 3:28 PM. This Group I PA contest is restricted to three-year-old fillies and will be run over 2,000 metres. It carries €100,000 in prize money and has attracted 13 runners. The race forms the second major Arabian Group I event of the afternoon.

At 4:03 PM, the Prix Matchem will be contested over 1,400 metres. This Listed race is for three-year-old horses and carries a total prize of €50,300. Seven runners are scheduled to take part, making it a compact field for the sprint-distance contest.

The sixth race at 4:38 PM is the Prix Dahlia, a Listed contest over 2,000 metres for horses aged four years and upwards. The race carries €43,900 in prize money and has attracted 11 runners. The longer distance will test the field’s stamina and ability to maintain their pace through the closing stages.

At 5:14 PM, the Prix Coronation will bring three-year-olds and upwards together over 1,600 metres. This Listed contest carries €47,600 and features 13 runners. The mile distance sits between the shorter Prix Matchem and the longer contests later on the programme.

The final race at 5:48 PM is the Prix du Vert Clos, a 2,500-metre Class 3 handicap for horses aged four years and upwards. The contest carries €22,100 in total prize money and has attracted the largest field of the afternoon, with 16 runners. The extended distance will provide a final staying test to close the Saint-Cloud programme.

The October 2 card at Saint-Cloud combines Flat racing across a wide range of distances, from 1,400 metres to 2,500 metres. The programme features eight races, including two Group I PA contests, a Group III event and three Listed races, providing a varied afternoon of racing for two-year-olds, three-year-olds and older horses.
