The experienced Poet’s Dawn, partnered by Sean Kirrane, produced a strong finishing effort to capture the Class 5 handicap. The race remained closely fought for much of the journey, but Poet’s Dawn showed admirable determination inside the final furlong to edge ahead. One of the standout performances of the afternoon came in the 3:50 PM feature, The British EBF Premier Fillies’ Handicap Stakes. Beaujolais Nouveau, ridden by Andrew Mullen, impressed with a polished display in the competitive six-furlong Class 3 race. The concluding race at 5:50 PM saw Solar Cooper and jockey Jack Garritty finish the meeting on a winning note. The pair combined effectively in Division Two of the handicap, with Solar Cooper producing a determined effort to come out on top. Garritty kept the gelding in a strong position throughout before asking for maximum effort inside the final furlong to secure victory.
