In a field packed with speed, it was Quicker who lived up to his moniker, showcasing a decisive turn of foot to seize victory in emphatic fashion.
Trained by the seasoned M. Narredu and confidently ridden by Bharat Singh, Quicker timed his run to perfection, launching a powerful surge in the final furlong to stop the clock at 1:10.979. Backed at odds of 3.10, the colt justified the support and claimed the winner’s share in style.
Giving him a spirited chase was Goddess of Dawn, trained by Aman Altaf Hussain and ridden by Mustakim Alam. The horse delivered a gritty performance, staying in contention throughout and finishing a close second in 1:11.126 at odds of 15, cementing her status as a consistent sprinter.
Rounding out the top three was The Athabasca, guided by jockey N. B. Kuldeep and trained by P. S. Chouhan. Though unable to match the front two, he delivered a respectable effort, finishing in 1:11.486 at odds of 25 to secure third place.
