PURE FOR SURE WINS RED SATIN PLATE IN THRILLING DAY 2 FINALE AT MYSORE

The second day of the Mysore Summer Meeting 2025 came to a dramatic close with the Red Satin Plate, a 1200-meter handicap for horses rated 40 to 65, run at 5:00 PM. The race carried a total prize purse of Rs. 5,75,000, and it delivered a perfect climax to the day’s action as Pure For Sure surged ahead in a thrilling photo-finish by cloaking at 1:11.578.

Trained by Vinesh V. Naik and ridden with poise by S. Antony Raj, Pure For Sure timed his final dash to perfection, grabbing the win in a tightly packed finish that left little room for error. The victory marked a strong close for the connections and capped off an afternoon of high-quality racing.

Finishing second was Sheeba, partnered by jockey M. Prabhakaran and trained by Feroz M. Khan, who challenged hard in the final strides but just missed out on the win. She showed plenty of heart and determination to secure a deserved runner-up spot in 1:12.682.

The top three was completed by Seolfor Bullet, guided by Sah Farid Ansari and trained by M. Pratap Kamath, who ran a consistent race and maintained pressure on the leaders right to the wire in 1:12.919.

As the crowd slowly filtered out and the floodlights lit up the finishing straight, The Red Satin Plate served as a fitting conclusion to a pulsating day of racing.
