The action continued at the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) during the Pune Meeting, 2nd Day, Friday, 24th July 2026, with ENCINO (J: A. Sandesh) emerging victorious in the 2nd Race – The Atomic Prince Plate. The Class II event for horses rated 60 to 86 (40 to 59 eligible) was contested over 1200 metres and run at 01:30 PM, where ENCINO produced a composed performance for trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha. Representing the partnership of Mr Gautam Lala rep Gainsville Stud & Agl Farm Pvt, Ltd, Mr Kishore P Rungta, Mr S R Sanas & Mr Ajay K Arora ,the winner added another memorable result to the Pune race result 24th July records.
ENCINO settled into the race with confidence as the field travelled over the sprint distance, with jockey A. Sandesh timing his challenge perfectly in the closing stages. Showing sharp acceleration when asked for his effort, the Adhirajsingh Jodha-trained runner produced a decisive surge to take command and secure the honours in the Class II event.
The runner-up position went to FIGHTON (J: Prashant P. Dhebe, T: M. K. Jadhav), who stayed competitive throughout the contest and finished strongly to claim second place. BEE MAGICAL (J: Neeraj Rawal, T: Imtiaz A. Sait) completed the top three with a determined performance, adding further depth to the finish.
With The Atomic Prince Plate concluded, attention now moves towards the next contest of the afternoon, The Dr. Anil Kumar Salver DIV II, scheduled at 02:00 PM, as the Pune card continues with more exciting racing action.
