The Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) opened another engaging chapter of the Pune Meeting, 1st Day, Friday, 17th July 2026, as the 6th Race – The Certainty Plate brought together promising three-year-old maiden Indian horses over 1200 metres at 4:30 PM. Adding another memorable chapter to the Pune race result 17th July, INVINCIBLE FORCE produced a polished performance under Suraj Narredu to register a deserved maiden victory for trainer M. Narredu. Racing for Mrs B E Saldanha, Mrs Rashmee A Amersey rep. So Blest Trading Co Pvt Ltd, Mr Achuthan Siddharth & Mr Jehangir Mehta, the youngster displayed maturity and determination to break through impressively.
From the moment the gates opened, INVINCIBLE FORCE settled into a comfortable rhythm before gradually improving position as the field approached the final bend. Suraj Narredu timed his challenge to perfection, asking the colt for his effort inside the closing stages. Responding willingly, INVINCIBLE FORCE quickened decisively and maintained a clear advantage through the final furlong, securing an encouraging first career success in convincing fashion.
YINSIRUK, ridden by P. Trevor for trainer Aman Altaf Hussain, chased gamely to finish second after keeping the winner under pressure for much of the straight. AVANTE, partnered by A. Sandesh, stayed on steadily to claim third place. Official timings for the winner and placed horses were not available at the time of publication.
With another maiden now decided, attention at Pune Racecourse shifts to the remaining races on the opening day’s programme as connections look to end the afternoon on a winning note.
