Pune race result 04 Oct 2025: King Ke (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff) claimed a commanding victory in the 3rd race of the day at Pune Race Club, The Rao Saheb Kedari Gold Trophy — a Class III contest for Indian horses rated 40 to 66 over 2000 metres — stopping the clock at a strong 2:03:901. The win thrilled owners Mr Vijay B. Shirke, Mrs Vijay B. Shirke, Mr Jay V. Shirke, Mrs Daisy K. D. B. Mehta & Mr Dara K. Mehta representing Darashaw Bloodstock Pvt Ltd, along with Mr D R Thacker representing DT Racing & Breeders LLP.

Breaking well, King Ke settled confidently behind the early pace, conserving energy while tracking the front runners. Approaching the final turn, Vivek G. found a decisive split, urging the horse forward with measured bursts of speed. Exhibiting a powerful turn of foot in the home straight, King Ke surged ahead to claim the race with authority, leaving a lasting impression of both stamina and tactical skill.

Black Thunder (J: Aditya Waydande, T: Rehanullah Khan) finished a valiant second, clocking 2:04:866 after keeping close company with the leader for much of the home stretch. Doctor Dolly (J: A. Sandesh, T: Faisal A. Abbas) stayed on strongly to secure third in 2:04:893, ensuring a closely fought contest for the minor placings.
