The fifth race of the day at the Bangalore Turf Club—The Speaker’s Cup—unfolded as a high-tempo 1200-meter sprint for horses rated 60 to 85. Scheduled at 3:30 PM and carrying a purse of ₹700,000, the race delivered a thrilling spectacle, highlighted by a commanding performance from Pluto.

Trained by Deepesh Narredu and ridden to perfection by Yash Narredu, Pluto showcased blistering speed and well-judged positioning to take charge in the home stretch and power away from the field. The duo’s synergy was evident throughout the contest as Pluto confidently surged past his rivals to seal a convincing win by timing at 1:11:61.

Finishing a determined second was Del Aviz, who put in a strong chase under Ramswarup and was trained by the seasoned S. S. Attaollahi by taking 1:11:88 to complete the race. Though Del Aviz made a late move and briefly threatened, he ultimately couldn’t match the winner’s pace in the closing stages.

Completing the frame in third was Never Give In, with Antony Raj S. in the saddle and trained by Arjun Mangalorkar. The gelding put in a solid effort, staying on gamely to ensure a spot on the podium in a tightly contested affair by timing at 1:12:15.

With Pluto stamping his authority on the race, attention now turns to the sixth contest of the afternoon—The H.H. Krishnaraja Wadiyar Cup, expected to bring together another competitive lineup in what has already been a thrilling day of racing at Bangalore. Stay tuned for more updates.
