The southern English venue of Plumpton Racecourse in East Sussex will host a competitive seven-race National Hunt programme on Monday, 9 March, presenting a balanced card that will feature novice hurdlers, handicap chasers and a concluding bumper over a range of distances. The afternoon fixture will bring together runners from established yards as well as emerging talent, with contests designed to test stamina, jumping ability and consistency. Six runners will line up including Catchintsavo, Five Bar Gate, Mymilkman, Piping Rock and Snowski. Seven runners will line up including Lasko des Obeaux, Valadon, Galactic Charm, Baltray and Moon Hunter. The contest will challenge experienced and improving hurdlers alike, rewarding smooth travel and accurate jumping through the final stages.
The meeting will conclude at 5:00pm with THE OPEN NATIONAL HUNT FLAT RACE (CLASS 5) (GBB RACE) over 2m 2f 85y for £4,999. Seven runners will take part including Mint Approved, Otie’s Friend, Silk Mountain, Blue’s Secret Gem and Chocks Away. The bumper will provide lightly raced and debuting horses with a platform to gain valuable racecourse experience, bringing the seven-race programme to its scheduled conclusion.
