Estorque records treble during eleven-race programme at Philippine Jockey Club

Under the warm Manila afternoon, the Philippine Jockey Club (PJC) conducted an extensive eleven-race programme on Sunday, 15 March 2026, presenting a structured sequence of stakes and trophy contests for locally bred runners. The meeting progressed steadily across the afternoon, producing several efficient performances while multiple stables and riders shared success throughout the competitive schedule.

The meeting opened with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office–MHP Stakes Race for four-year-olds and above, where CIRCUS CROWD produced a composed performance under JL Lazaro to secure victory for trainer Raymundo E. Ongaya in 1:41.20, establishing an early benchmark for the afternoon, while the following event, the MHP–Cool Summer Farm Derby Stakes Race, saw CUNNINGHAM prevail under jockey JM Estorque for trainer Julius J. Roxas, the winner covering the distance in 1:43.97 to begin a productive day for the rider.

Race 3, the MHP–Ivan Cruz & Paking Maristela Trophy Race, went the way of SHANGHAI SILK, with JM Estorque guiding the Edgardo R. Lumpay-trained runner to victory in 1:27.31, continuing the jockey’s strong presence during the early stages of the programme, while the Philracom–MHP Stakes Race III in Race 4 saw LUCENCY, ridden by PR Dilema for trainer Dante I. Salazar, capture the race in 1:38.48.

The Philracom–MHP Stakes Race IV in Race 5 was secured by ISLA PUTING BATO, who travelled smoothly under PM Cabalejo to deliver success for trainer Peter L. Aguila in 1:27.06, while Race 6, the MHP–Napoleon Magno Trophy Race, produced another efficient display as ALIBABA, ridden by CM Pilapil for trainer Raymundo E. Mongaya, completed the event in 1:25.19.

Race 7, the MHP–Cong. Antonino Calixto & Bing Tecson Trophy Race, saw WOLFTHREEFIVENINE provide JM Estorque with his third success of the meeting, the Tomasito E. Santos-trained runner finishing the contest in 1:25.30, while the MHP–Andok’s Shrimpura Special Trophy Race in Race 8 was claimed by LEGITIFY, with OP Cortez aboard for trainer Renato D. Hipolito, recording one of the quicker times of the afternoon at 1:23.16.

The MHP–Patrick Uytrophy Race in Race 9 went to CHARMBOY, ridden by JA Guce and trained by Tomasito E. Santos in 1:26.81, while Race 10, the MHP–James Anthony Rabano Trophy Race, was captured by SEGA TOULIN, partnered by JA Guce for trainer Jayson N. Sordan in 1:27.83.

The programme concluded with another James Anthony Rabano Trophy in Race 11, where A MAN’S A MAN, guided by PM Cabalejo for trainer Raymundo E. Mongaya, finished the card with a winning time of 1:26.00, bringing the day’s racing to a close.

The Philippine Race Results 15 March reflected a balanced and competitive afternoon at the Philippine Jockey Club, with several trainers and riders registering notable successes across the eleven-race programme.
