From the break, Pantazi was positioned prominently, stalking the pace and conserving energy for the crucial home stretch. Displaying an impressive turn of foot under P. Trevor, Pantazi surged past rivals with precision, taking the lead in the final 200 metres and maintaining composure to cross the line with authority. The combination of tactical patience and timely acceleration underscored the trainer Aashay Doctor’s strategy and the jockey’s deft handling.
Runner-up honours went to Victoria Cross (J: Neeraj Rawal, T: Neil Darashah), who finished in 1:25.085, putting up a resilient challenge but unable to match Pantazi’s finishing burst.
