Day 17 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting concluded with the Hooves of Steel Million Div II, a 1400-meter terms race for three-year-old maiden horses. Run at 5:00 pm, the race carried a total prize purse of ₹11,00,000.
Neptune, trained by Karthik Ganapathy and ridden by A. Sandesh, won the race in 1:26.46. Ownership credits go to Geoffrey B. Nagpal, Mukteshwar Racing LLP represented by Angad Singh and Jaisal Singh.
Knotty Cruise, trained by Prasanna Kumar and ridden by Vivek G., secured second place with a time of 1:26.91. Renoir, from the stables of Pesi Shroff and partnered by A. Prakash, completed the top three in 1:27.37.
With the conclusion of the closing race, another exciting race day at Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) came to an end. Attention now turns to the next race day, scheduled for July 13th, 2025, featuring eight races, including three headline events: The Amokbash B.T.C Anniversary Cup (Grade II), The Zavaray S. Poonawalla Bangalore Summer Derby (Grade I), and The Five Stars Shipping Million.
