A seven-race National Hunt meeting awaits racegoers at Exeter on Thursday, 18 December 2025, with the first of the action underway at 12:30PM and the finale at 3:30PM. The Exeter Race Cards 18 December will set out a thoughtfully arranged card featuring maiden hurdles, novice chases, and handicap contests over a range of trips.

Juvenile Maiden Hurdle Race – 1:30PM
Juvenile hurdlers will take centre stage at 1:30PM in the JUVENILE MAIDEN HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4), also run over 2m 161y. Klycot, Lord Byron, Way of Stars, and Babychino will contest the £9,000 event, offering an initial assessment of emerging young talent.
‘Christmas Cup’ Handicap Steeple Chase – 2:00PM
The principal staying contest of the afternoon will arrive at 2:00PM with the ‘CHRISTMAS CUP’ HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 3). Contested over 3m 54y, Isaac des Obeaux, Coolvalla, Operation Manna, Rosscahill, Gyenyame, and Sheldon will face a stamina-focused examination for the £17,000 prize.
Handicap Steeple Chase – 2:30PM

The meeting will conclude at 3:30PM with the AMATEUR JOCKEYS’ HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 5) over 2m 5f 137y. Iris des Issards, Walkinthecotswolds, Whatmakes Honey B, Dish of The Day, Mr Griffiths, and Moonlight Artist will close out the card worth £7,000.
