The 7th race of the 14th day at the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025, The Bottolanda Mittoo Chengappa Memorial Trophy, a Class III contest for horses rated 40 to 65 over 1600m on Saturday, 25th October at 4:30 PM, delivered a thrilling spectacle. Mystic Divine (J: Faiz), trained by C D Monnappa and owned by Nippon Bloodstock Racing Pvt. Ltd., represented by Mr. Goodera Vasanta, showcased remarkable timing and stamina, crossing the finish line in 1:38.060 to claim a decisive victory.

From the start, Mystic Divine displayed composure and tactical awareness, maintaining a steady rhythm before unleashing a decisive burst in the final 300m. Faiz expertly navigated the field, finding the perfect path along the rail, while the mare responded with effortless acceleration, leaving challengers struggling to keep pace. The strategic ride and well-timed surge proved critical in securing the win in commanding fashion.

Runner-up honors went to Freedom Touch (J: Pavan, T: Arvind V), who finished narrowly behind in 1:38.088, giving chase throughout the home stretch but unable to overtake the leader. Baashha (J: S. Sachin, T: Joseph B Awale) held on for third place in 1:39.069, completing the podium with a strong late effort.

With Mystic Divine’s victory celebrated, attention now turns to the upcoming Sharan Lakshmanan Memorial Trophy at 5:00 PM, a race anticipated to test both tactical skill and finishing speed among the day’s elite contenders.
