The third race of Day 4 at the Mysore Summer Races 2025 unfolded with a burst of speed as Creative Girl stormed home to victory in The Somwarpet Plate Div 2, a 1100-meter handicap for horses rated 20 to 45. The contest, run at 2:30 pm, carried a total prize purse of ₹4,50,000 and featured a closely packed sprinting field.
Trained by Monnappa C D and ridden to precision by S. Antony Raj, Creative Girl displayed a strong early dash and held her ground through the stretch to finish in a winning time of 1:07.463. The filly’s assertive pace and clean run down the final furlong left no room for late challengers, handing her connections Mrs. Preeti C. Shah & Mr. K.M. Shah a well-earned triumph.
Golden Stride, guided by Bharat Mal and trained by Ganesh J, gave a valiant chase but had to settle for the runner-up spot, finishing in 1:08.188, nearly three lengths adrift. The third spot was taken by To Hot To Touch, piloted by M. S. Deora for trainer Pratap Kamath M, who crossed the line in 1:08.523 with a spirited late effort.
This win marked a significant moment for Creative Girl, reinforcing her sprinting credentials in the local circuit. With three races completed, racing action continues to intensify as attention now turns to The Takshashila Plate Div 1, the next test on today’s competitive card at Mysore.
