The action-packed first day of the Mysore Winter Races 2025 at Mysore Racecourse produced an exciting showcase in Race 4, The S.M.Attaollahi Memorial Trophy, on Wednesday, 19th November. This Class III contest over 1200m for horses rated 40 to 65 saw Mandolin (J: S. Sachin, T: Helleal Moses R), owned by Mr Sunil Santhosh Serrao, storm to victory in a commanding display, clocking 1:13.601. The performance, as highlighted in the Mysore race result november 19, marked a decisive win and thrilled the racing crowd.

Mandolin settled prominently along the rails from the break, demonstrating both composure and early speed. As the field approached the final 200 metres, the gelding produced a sharp turn of foot, holding off all challengers with authority and crossing the line with an effortless air of dominance. The strategic positioning and well-timed burst proved pivotal in clinching the victory.

Chasing the winner closely, Sherpa (J: L. Alex Rozario, T: Pillay J S) finished a strong second in 1:13.756, pressing hard but unable to match Mandolin’s finishing kick. Square Cut (J: N. Ramesh Kumar, T: Surender G T) rallied late to claim third in 1:13.997, rounding out a tightly contested top three.

With the excitement of The S.M.Attaollahi Memorial Trophy still resonating, attention now turns to the day’s next feature race – The Rajyotsava Trophy at 4:00 PM – promising more tactical brilliance and bursts of speed.
