The 3rd race of the Mysore Winter Races 2025 Meeting on Wednesday, 19th November, produced an electrifying finish in the Class IV Fantasy Dream Plate Div II for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1200m. In a performance that quickly caught the eye, Balahaka (J: Koshi Kumar, T: Arvind V), representing Mr N Krishnamurthy, crossed the finish line in a decisive 1:14.091, marking a standout moment in the Mysore race result november 19.
Racing prominently from the start, Balahaka settled just off the early pace setters, maintaining composure while biding time for the final surge. In the last 200m, Koshi Kumar expertly guided the gelding through a narrow gap along the rail, unleashing a powerful finishing burst that left competitors trailing and delighted the packed stands with a masterclass in timing and tactical riding.
The runner-up honours went to Adena (J: S. G. Prasad, T: Feroz M Khan), who stayed within striking distance and crossed in 1:14.129, narrowly missing out on victory. Selma (J: Y. S. Srinath, T: Pillay J S) finished strongly to claim third in 1:14.246, rounding off a tightly contested top three in an action-packed sprint.
With the excitement still lingering on the track, eyes now turn to the 4th race, The S.M. Attaollahi Memorial Trophy, scheduled for 03:30 PM, promising another thrilling contest in Mysore’s Winter Races 2025.
