Chisox (J: Anish Anamo Hangal, T: K. Pradeep Annaiah), the experienced eight-year-old chestnut, remained in close contention throughout and finished second in 1:11.974, just under half a length behind the winner. Abnegator (J: Gagandeep Maan, T: Dhyan Subbaiah K) came in third with a time of 1:12.945 after making steady progress but unable to threaten the leading duo in the final stages.
