The 3rd race of the Mysore Monsoon Races on Friday, 03 October 2025, The Srirangapattana Plate DIV I, Class IV (Horse Rated 20 to 45) over 1400 meters, witnessed an authoritative performance from Dufy (J: Vivek, T: Sriram Komandur). Racing in the colours of Mr J S Lokesh, Dufy crossed the finish line in a winning time of 1:25.121, showcasing both composure and a decisive turn of foot.

From the start, Dufy settled comfortably in mid-pack, conserving energy while the early leaders set a brisk pace. As the field rounded the final bend, Vivek expertly angled Dufy through a clear path along the rail, unleashing a strong late surge that left competitors struggling to respond. The horse’s timing and acceleration proved impeccable, securing a well-deserved victory.

Runner-up honours went to Blue Origin (J: Siddaraju P, T: Ranjeet Shinde), who stayed in contention throughout and finished closely in 1:25.342. Walter (J: N. B. Kuldeep, T: Vinesh V Naik) fought valiantly in the final strides to claim third in 1:25.391, ensuring a thrilling conclusion to the Class IV contest.
