The 5th race of the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025, day 7th at Mysore Race Club on Thursday, The Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club Trophy DIV I, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1400 meters, saw a sparkling performance from Silicon Star (J: A. Ramu, T: V Lokanath), owned by Mr. Dinesh Kumar K. Clocking an impressive 1:23.926, Silicon Star dominated the afternoon’s Class IV action and secured a memorable win for connections at 4:30 PM.
From the outset, Silicon Star displayed alertness and tactical speed, positioning prominently just behind the leaders before unleashing a decisive turn of foot in the final 200 meters. A. Ramu guided the mount expertly, allowing Silicon Star to surge past rivals with authority and cross the finish line well clear, demonstrating both stamina and timing under pressure.
Knotty Affair (J: N. Darshan, T: Azhar Ali) finished a close second in 1:24.372, maintaining a strong challenge throughout the home stretch. Selma (J: Anil Baandal, T: Pillay J S) rallied late to claim third place in 1:25.343, rounding off an exciting top-three finish separated by fine margins.
