SENTINEL (J: Bhawani Singh, T: Karthik Ganapathy) put in a commanding performance over 1000m, showing both speed and composure to thrill his owners and racing fans alike, bringing a memorable seven-race meeting to a satisfying finale.
From the start, Sentinel displayed sharp acceleration, settling just off the early pace before unleashing a strong burst in the home straight. Bhawani Singh timed his challenge perfectly, guiding the winner to edge clear under minimal urging and cross the line in decisive fashion, leaving little doubt about the superiority on the day.
The runner-up honors went to VIENNOISE (J: Vivek G., T: Bezan Chenoy), who stayed in contention throughout and finished strongly to secure second place. SAMSON (J: A. Prakash, T: Narendra Lagad) ran a determined race to take third, rounding out the podium in a tightly contested finish.
The day had started with The Sonny Brar Trophy (R1, 2000m) where GOLDEN DANCER (J: Akshay Kumar, T: Dallas Todywalla) showcased his staying power to claim a stylish victory for owners Mr D R Thacker rep DT Racing & Breeders LLP, Mr Mukul Sonawala, Mr Girish S Mehta & Mrs Rashmee A Amersey rep So Blest Trading Co Pvt Ltd, while ENDURANCE and EXUMA took second and third. The Mathradas Goculdas Trophy (R2, 1400m) was won by ULTIMO (J: Neeraj Rawal, T: P. S. Chouhan) for M/s Rajesh Monga & Manav Monga, with MARKET KING and IRISH GOLD following. In the Nadir & Yawar Rashid Trophy (R3, 1400m), BISHOP (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff) triumphed, ahead of AMAZING RULER and RAMBLER.
The R. M. & Rukmani Goculdas Million (R4, 1200m) saw SILVER STRIKE (J: C. Umesh, T: Faisal A. Abbas) dominate, followed by INTERCEPTOR and STARSEED. The N. M. Irani Trophy (R5, 1200m) belonged to STORM MAJESTY (J: P. Trevor, T: Aman Altaf Hussain) for a strong ownership group led by Mrs Pragya Devgan & Mr Ritvik Devgan rep Niche Agriculture & Pharmaceuticals Limited, with PALOMA and ORGANISED CHAOS placing. In the penultimate contest, The Nawabzada Rashiduzzafar Khan Trophy (R6, 1600m), MERCHANT OF VENICE (J: Nirmal Jodha, T: Adhirajsingh Jodha) held off MARIUS and TREASURE GOLD to secure a fine victory.
