The Mumbai Meeting 2025/26, Seventeenth Day on Sunday, 15th March 2026, concluded with Race No. 10 – The Ahead Of My Time Million, a Class III Handicap for Indian horses rated 40 to 66 (20 to 39 eligible) over 1200 metres, run at 08:00 PM. Manor House (J: Yash Narredu) produced a decisive late surge to capture the final race of the evening for trainer Aman Altaf Hussain.

Running in the colours of Mr Solomon F. Sopher, Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr Anil Saraf, Mr Saleem A. Jasdanwalla, Mr Kishore M. Dingra, Mrs Ayesha A. Hussain, Mr Vishwajeet Sood & Mr Waahiid Ali Khan rep. Sshaawn Horses and Sports Pvt Ltd, the winner ensured the curtain fell on the day with a strong performance in the six-furlong sprint.

As the final contest unfolded, the Mumbai race results 15 March produced another competitive finish with Manor House travelling comfortably before jockey Yash Narredu brought the runner into contention approaching the final furlong. Responding gamely when asked for an effort, the Aman Altaf Hussain trainee accelerated smartly in the closing stages to assert control and secure the victory. American Eagle (J: Aditya Waydande, T: Shazaan Shah) kept up the pursuit to finish second, while Shirsa (J: S. G. Prasad, T: Sangramsinh N. Joshi) stayed on to claim third in the concluding race of the day.

Earlier in the evening, the racing programme opened with Break Point (J: Neeraj Rawal, T: P. S. Chouhan) landing The Haunting Memories Million over 1600 metres at 04:00 PM for owners Mr Jatin L Trivedi & Mr Nitin H Jain rep J N Racing & Breeders LLP, defeating Zacharias and Namiri. Renaissance (J: Yash Narredu, T: M. Narredu) then captured The Open Spaces Million over 1200 metres at 04:25 PM for the Stride Livestock Pvt Ltd partnership, with Santana Row finishing second and Ashwa Ankara third.

The juvenile feature races provided high-quality contests as D’Artagnan (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff) triumphed in The Shapoorji Pallonji Breeders’ Juvenile Colts’ Championship (Grade III) at 04:50 PM over 1600 metres, edging past Enrich and Alexios. Shortly after, Vortex (J: P. Trevor, T: Shazaan Shah) produced a commanding effort to take The Forbes Breeders’ Juvenile Fillies’ Championship (Grade III) at 05:15 PM, ahead of Angelisa and Pinnacle.

The middle portion of the card featured another major highlight when Zuccaro (J: Yash Narredu, T: P. Shroff) lifted The Maharaja Sir Harisinghji Trophy powered by Mr. Zavaray S. Poonawalla (Grade III) over 1600 metres at 05:45 PM, defeating Psychic Star and The Milenium Force. Stamina came to the fore in The C. N. Wadia Gold Cup powered by Mr. Zavaray S. Poonawalla (Grade II) at 06:10 PM over 2400 metres, where Kings Gambit (J: A. Prakash, T: P. Shroff) stayed on strongly to beat stablemate King Ke, while Red Bishop finished third.

The competitive Lahinch Million at 06:45 PM saw Neutralist (J: P. Trevor, T: Aman Altaf Hussain) emerge victorious over 1400 metres for the Sohna Stud Farm and Sshaawn Horses and Sports partnership, with La Dolce Vita and Starseed filling the minor placings. At 07:10 PM, Rambo (J: Antony Raj S., T: Shazaan Shah) claimed the Poonawalla Stud Farms Auction Sale Stakes over 1400 metres for Mr Jaydev M Mody rep J M Livestock Pvt Ltd, finishing ahead of Queen Of Beauties and Invictor.

The penultimate race of the evening, The Zavaray S. Poonawalla Sprinters’ Challenge at 07:35 PM over 1200 metres, went the way of Dream Seller (J: P. Trevor, T: P. S. Chouhan) for owner Mr Meher K Sunderji, who finished ahead of Western Star and Credence in a fast-run sprint.

With Manor House sealing the concluding race, the curtain fell on an eventful day of racing that also marked the closing chapter of The Zavaray S. Poonawalla Indian Racing Carnival, bringing the Mumbai racing season’s grand showcase to a memorable finish.
