Margaretta (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff) claimed a commanding victory in Race 4, The Kheem Singh Salver, a 1200m term race for three-year-old maiden Indian horses, held at the Royal Western India Turf Club on Sunday, 4th January 2026 at 3:00 PM. Racing in the silks of Mr Mehernosh H Deboo, Margaretta displayed a composed yet authoritative performance to secure her first career win, marking a highlight in today’s Mumbai race result 4 January coverage.

Settling just off the pace in the early stages, Margaretta bided her time before producing a decisive turn of foot in the final 300 metres. Jockey Vivek G. timed the run perfectly, guiding her through a narrow gap along the rails and stretching clear to assert dominance in the closing strides. Trainer P. Shroff’s tactics paid dividends, allowing Margaretta to showcase both speed and balance when it mattered most.

Mystica (J: A. Sandesh, T: Dallas Todywalla) finished strongly to take second place, staying close to the leader for much of the home stretch and completing the 1200m in a competitive time. Paloma (J: Yash Narredu, T: M. Narredu) produced a late surge to secure third, ensuring the top trio crossed the line within a narrow margin and keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats.

With The Kheem Singh Salver concluded, all eyes now turn to the eagerly anticipated Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa-Area Trophy at 3:30 PM, promising another thrilling contest at the Mumbai meeting.
