The racing action at Mahalaxmi Racecourse gathered momentum with Race No. 3, The Behram A. Engineer Salver, a Class III contest for Indian Horses rated 40 to 66, run over 1400 metres at 02:30 PM on Sunday, 4 January 2026, during the Mumbai Meeting 2025/26 (Sixth Day). In a performance full of control and purpose, AXLROD powered home under T. S. Jodha to land the honours for trainer Behram Cama, carrying the colours of Mr Jaydev M. Mody rep. J M Livestock Pvt. Ltd. It was another notable Mumbai race result 4 January that underlined the gelding’s consistency in this grade.
