The action-packed first day of the Mumbai Meeting 2025/26 witnessed a thrilling display in Race 2, The D. J. Surti Salver, a Class IV contest for Indian horses rated 20 to 46 over 1000 metres, held on Sunday, 30th November 2025 at 2:30 PM. In a performance that had racegoers cheering, Heaven’s Rhythm (J: Yash Narredu, T: M. Narredu) claimed a stylish victory for owners Mr Rajesh Monga, Mr Manav Monga & Capt Jamshed J Appoo, crossing the line in a crisp 0:57.696. This result adds to the excitement for fans following the Mumbai race result 30 november.

From the break, Heaven’s Rhythm showed alertness and quick acceleration, seizing an early position near the front. As the field straightened, Yash Narredu timed his run impeccably, finding a gap along the inside rail and drawing clear in the final strides to secure a decisive win. The filly’s balance and turn of foot made the difference in a tightly contested sprint.

Rafael (J: A. Sandesh, T: Adhirajsingh Jodha) fought valiantly to finish second in 0:57.831, staying close to the winner through the home stretch. Akitania (J: C. Umesh, T: J E Mckeown) rounded out the placings with a solid third, clocking 0:57.910, ensuring the top three were separated by mere fractions of a second.

With the crowd still buzzing from the Salver, attention now shifts to The R. R. Byramji Salver at 3:00 PM, promising more high-speed action and tactical racing for the afternoon.
