Social Butterfly Soars to Victory in The Hyderabad Race Club Trophy at Mumbai

The action at the Mumbai Racecourse gathered momentum in Race 6, The Hyderabad Race Club Trophy, a Class I handicap for horses rated 80 and above (60 to 79 eligible), run over 1200 metres on Sunday, 29th March 2026 at 06:30 PM. In what will stand out in the Mumbai race result 29 March highlights, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY delivered a polished performance under P. Trevor to claim top honours for trainer Dallas Todywalla.

Representing a large ownership group headed by Mr Mukul Sonawala, Mr Nozer Panthaky, Mr D R Thacker rep DT Racing & Breeders LLP, Mr Kairus Dadachanji, Mr P J Vazifdar, Mr M Rishad, Mr Munchi P Shroff & Mr K H Vachha, the winner showcased class and control in a competitive sprint.

Breaking smartly and settling into a handy position, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY travelled strongly through the early exchanges as the field set a brisk pace. P. Trevor timed his challenge to perfection, easing the filly into contention approaching the final furlong before asking for a decisive effort. Responding gamely, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY quickened clear in the closing stages, asserting authority over the field and maintaining a comfortable advantage to the finish.

FIGHTON, ridden by Prashant P. Dhebe and trained by M. K. Jadhav, chased valiantly but had to settle for second, while MARKET KING, under Vivek G. for trainer Imtiaz A. Sait, finished third after staying on steadily in the straight. The trio emerged clear of the remainder, marking themselves as key contenders in this grade.

With this sprint feature wrapped up, the spotlight now shifts to the upcoming The Trainers Trophy at 07:00 PM, where another competitive field is set to take centre stage.
