In a commanding display of speed and timing, Jade (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff) stormed to victory for owners Mr Vijay B Shirke, Mrs Vijay B Shirke, Mr Jay V Shirke, Mrs Daisy K D B Mehta & Mr Dara K Mehta rep Darashaw Bloodstock Pvt Ltd, stopping the clock at 1:09:563 in what was the highlight of the afternoon. Race fans looking for the Mumbai race result 14 December were treated to a thrilling sprint finish.
Breaking well from the gates, Jade positioned prominently from the outset, settling just off the early pace before unleashing a devastating turn of foot in the final 300m. With jockey Vivek G. expertly navigating traffic and timing the challenge perfectly, Jade drew clear in the closing stages to secure a decisive win that left spectators in awe.
The runner-up honors went to Miss American Pie (J: David Allan, T: M. K. Jadhav), who kept close tabs on the leader throughout and finished strongly in 1:09:635. Credence (J: Yash Narredu, T: Shazaan Shah) completed the podium in 1:09:890, showing late courage to secure third place as the top three were separated by fractions of a second.
As the cheers for Jade’s triumph echoed around the track, attention now shifts to the next feature of the day, The Indian 1000 Guineas (Grade I), scheduled for 04:00 PM, promising another showcase of class and speed at the Mumbai Meeting.
