Race 2 of the MUMBAI MEETING 2025/26, SEVENTH DAY, staged on Saturday, 10th January 2026, delivered a classy spectacle as Pride’s Prince stamped his authority in The Potential Champion Trophy, a Class I contest for horses rated 80 and upward (60–79 eligible) over 1600 metres at 01:30 PM.

In what quickly became a talking point in the Mumbai race result 10 January narrative, Pride’s Prince showcased poise and power to land the honours in 1:34:418, under a confident ride from Yash Narredu for trainer Imtiaz A. Sait. El Greco (J: Vivek G., T: P. S. Chouhan) ran on resolutely to claim second place, while Chagall (J: S. Siddharth, T: P. Shroff) stayed on for third, both giving honest accounts behind a superior winner.

With The Potential Champion Trophy decided in emphatic fashion, attention now turns to the The Pleasure Hunt Trophy, scheduled for 02:00 PM, as the Mumbai afternoon promises more high-quality action to follow on an engaging race day.
