From the break, Pride’s Prince settled comfortably behind the early leaders, conserving energy while maintaining a strategic position on the rails. As the field approached the final 400m, Mustakim Alam angled the favourite into the clear, unleashing a decisive turn of foot that carried Pride’s Prince past his rivals with authority. By the finish line, he had secured a commanding margin, blending stamina and tactical precision in a textbook Grade III performance.
African Gold (J: Akshay Kumar, T: Darius Byramji) ran on determinedly but was unable to match the winner’s surge, finishing second in a strong showing. Ravishing Beauty (J: P. Trevor, T: Prasanna Kumar P.) claimed third place, rounding out the podium in competitive fashion. The top three were split by narrow margins, underscoring the quality of the contest.
