The afternoon will move steadily through sprint and middle-distance races, covering trips from 1000 metres to 1600 metres and offering opportunities for horses across a wide range of ratings.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 PM with The A. Hoyt Plate, a Class V contest for Indian horses rated 1 to 26 over 1200 metres. The race will carry total prize money of Rs. 5,00,000, with Ensky, Tropical Paradise, Viennoise, Lara, and Rise All Stars set to contest the opener.
At 2:00 PM, The Ravishankar Gupta Salver (Division II) will be run over 1600 metres for Class IV horses rated 20 to 46. With prize money of Rs. 5,50,000, the race will feature Caradoc, Mai Tai, Marius, Abhyankar, and Arlington Heights.
The 2:30 PM slot will be occupied by The Nadia Mary Homi Wadia Trophy, a maiden contest restricted to three-year-old Indian horses over 1200 metres. Carrying a purse of Rs. 12,00,000, it will be the richest race on the card. Absolute Majesty, Golden Axl, Shaandaar, Avante, and Caviar Queen will be scheduled to line up.
Sprint action will resume at 3:00 PM with The Heritage of Grooming Trophy, a Class IV race over 1000 metres for horses rated 20 to 46. The contest will offer prize money of Rs. 5,50,000, with El Moran, New Yorker, Chelsea, Dancing Cloud, and Flashman among the expected runners.
At 3:30 PM, The Ravishankar Gupta Salver (Division I) will bring together another set of Class IV runners over 1600 metres, competing for Rs. 5,50,000. Land Of Plenty, Nostalgia, Ange Raphael, Semurg, and Youreforfame will be scheduled to take part.
The feature race of the afternoon will follow at 4:00 PM with The Kailashpat Singhania Trophy, a Class II contest over 1600 metres for horses rated 60 to 86. With prize money of Rs. 9,00,000, the race will include Chagall, Ardakan, Destroyer, Singer Sargent, and Fortunate Son.
The penultimate contest, The Edgar DeSylva Salver, will be run at 4:30 PM over 1400 metres for Class III horses rated 40 to 66. The race will carry a purse of Rs. 6,50,000, with Emperor Roderic, Amazing Ruler, Substantial, Liam, and Bishop completing the field.
The meeting will conclude at 5:00 PM with The Dr. A. H. Sayed Plate, a Class V race over 1400 metres for horses rated 1 to 26, offering total prize money of Rs. 5,00,000. Chandrayaan, It’s My Way, Mighty Hero, Lord Murphy, and She’s My Gal will be set to bring the curtain down on the Mumbai programme.
