The Mumbai meeting will stage a competitive ten-race Sunday programme at the Royal Western India Turf Club on 21 December 2025, with the Indian 2000 Guineas set to headline the afternoon. The Mumbai Race Cards 21 December will feature a structured mix of maidens, handicaps across classes, and a premier Grade 1 contest, with racing scheduled from 12:45 PM to 5:15 PM.

The meeting will commence at 12:45 PM with The Castlebridge Trophy, a Class V race for Indian horses aged five years and over, run over 1400 metres. ASHWA ANKARA, MAYSARA, MARLBORO MAN, IMPULSIVE, PRINCE IGOR, and MADISON will be the expected runners. Prize Money: Rs.5,00,000.

At 1:15 PM, the card will move to three-year-old maidens in The Synthesis Trophy Division I, contested over 1400 metres. ALL FOR LOVE, SOLIDARITY, MAI TAI, COMMANCHERO, LUCIO, and ARLINGTON HEIGHTS will seek early success at this level. Prize Money: Rs.5,50,000.

Sprint specialists will take centre stage at 1:45 PM in The P. D. Avasia Trophy Division II, a Class IV contest over 1200 metres for horses rated 20 to 46. ESTEBAN, EASTERN MONARCH, ENFORCER, DESERT CLASSIC, LIFE IS LIFE, and FLASH MOB will form the field. Prize Money: Rs.5,50,000.

Class II runners will feature at 2:15 PM in The Beautiful Stranger Trophy, run over 1400 metres for horses rated 60 to 86. ULTIMO, RED BISHOP, ALPINE STAR, SINGER SARGENT, SCARAMOUCHE, and EARTH will compete in this quality handicap. Prize Money: Rs.7,50,000.

Two-year-old maidens will be showcased at 2:45 PM in The Faiz Jasdanwalla Trophy, a 1200-metre race restricted to juvenile Indian horses. HERMANUS, INVICTOR, LORENZO, RAMBO, ADMIRABLE, and AVANTE will be among the starters. Prize Money: Rs.12,00,000.

The P. D. Avasia Trophy Division I will follow at 3:15 PM, again over 1200 metres for Class IV horses rated 20 to 46. EL MORAN, ESCAPE VELOCITY, AKITANIA, HEAVEN’S RHYTHM, YOUREFORFAME, and ADONIS will contest the race. Prize Money: Rs.5,50,000.

Stamina will be tested at 3:45 PM in The Gracias Saldanha Memorial Million, a Class III event over 2000 metres for horses rated 40 to 66. KING KE, EAGLE DAY, EXUMA, BUGATTI, TIEPOLO, and DOCTOR DOLLY will be expected to line up. Prize Money: Rs.15,00,000.

The centrepiece of the programme will be run at 4:15 PM with The Indian 2000 Guineas (Grade 1), contested over 1600 metres for three-year-old horses. BAYCHIMO, BIG BAY, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED, GIACOMO, ROSARIO, and SOVEREIGN KING will vie for classic honours. Prize Money: Rs.73,50,000.

Late-afternoon action will continue at 4:45 PM with The Gulamhusein Essaji Trophy, a 1600-metre Class IV race for horses rated 20 to 46. VINCERO, LOOKING LIKE A WOW, BRASILIER, SEMURG, CORNERSTONE, and SIMOLA will feature. Prize Money: Rs.5,50,000.

The meeting will conclude at 5:15 PM with The Synthesis Trophy Division II, a 1400-metre maiden event for three-year-old Indian horses. BEZALEL, SAVAGE PEACOCK, RENOIR, AEON FLUX, GOLDEN HEART, and MEADOW SPRINGS will close the card. Prize Money: Rs.5,50,000.
